As many of you know, I’m a big fan of Yaro Starak from entrepreneur’s journey.

publishers-blogYaro offers loads of excellent blogging information for free.

When I first started blogging, I downloaded his free e-book called Blog Profits Blueprint.  Following along with what we’ve already started in previous blog carnivals, let’s look at another one of his recommendations.

Yaro suggests writing and posting on your blog every day – or maybe 5 days a week.

He gives great reasons for doing so (see below).  I couldn’t keep up with that pace. I’ve chosen to publish 3 times per week.

The following is an excerpt from an article Yaro wrote called “10 Blog Traffic Tips”

2. Write one new blog post per day minimum. Not every post has to be a pillar, but you should work on getting those five pillars done at the same time as you keep your blog fresh with a daily news or short article style post. The important thing here is to demonstrate to first time visitors that your blog is updated all the time so they feel that if they come back tomorrow they will likely find something new. This causes them to bookmark your site or subscribe to your blog feed.

You don’t have to produce one post per day all the time but it is important you do when your blog is brand new. Once you get traction you still need to keep the fresh content coming but your loyal audience will be more forgiving if you slow down to a few per week instead. The first few months are critical so the more content you can produce at this time the better.

Blogging Tips from Expert Bloggers

Today, I’m featuring one blogger’s submission because the original post was created in 2006.
The Digerati Life blog has an Alexa worldwide traffic rank of 32,482. That’s really good! Something on the list of traffic building tips must have worked well. I checked and some things are still relevant. Plus, her links point to blogs that have current and useful information to add to your “how to pimp my blog” To Do list.
